: Google Wave seems to be somewhat like a "Eierlegende Wollmilchsau" as we would call it in Germany. A highly complex system for real-time communication which is capable of replacing IM, email, wikis etc. This is definitely a project which is not easy to beat by any other vendor with less will to spend millions of millions into infrastructure and development for a single project.
