To own is about building your ego. Sharing is about building a Network. To share means that what is good for you, can be good for others. Why keep it to yourself! The message is important. The messenger should not be a messiah

Why dual boot Vista and XP? I help my sister in-law to order a Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop computer six months ago. She was so excited with the big 20? inch widescreen. Social Media properties just may be the focus of the next big “slap”. While its both popular and profitable right now, it seems obvious that in short time the people who are using them right will excel… and those who are simply using social media ‘for promotion only’ will find their success short-lived…. I'm continually amazed at how people go barreling into social media sites like a bull in a china shop and then wonder why they aren't well received. They hear social media is changing the way people do business and they make the mistake of thinking it's changing it to something "new" instead of simply changing it back to th (Read More)
: To the previous two comments; though it may seem at this time like social media marketing is "marketing BS", when done right and by the correct people it is the essence of what marketing should be.
The problem as pointed out in the this article is that their is still too many people trying to profit from this with no idea on how to correctly implement it.
Remember at it's core social media brings about a conversation with a potential customer or client. This type of advertising is not for all clients or customers, as a conversation stream needs to be their initially. What we tend to find, in SM ad failures, is implementation within companies that have no reason to be doing it.
This of course brings about the idea that this is "marketing BS", when in fact it should be blamed on the the marketer and client, not social media marketing.
: We've reached another level of super-saturation, only there are more people involved now. It's exactly the same plateau Web 1.0 reached just ahead of the 'dot.com' Epic Fail. The 'bleeding edge' of tele-socializing is still made up mostly of coders, implementers and curious early-adopters. I think we can all see the (albeit ironic) potential of it bringing the human experience more 'humanness', but all the attention gets grabbed by the VC and marketing people who detract this potential with truckloads of investment capital and zealous agendas of monetizing and commoditizing the InterwebTubes.
