If you are EVER in the south central Michigan area, definitely, DEFINITELY, visit the Travelers Club and Tuba Museum in Okemos! This great restuarant serves a different ethnic/national food theme each month, in addition to a full line of 'regular' food and beers.

HOW'S THIS for a delicious Swedish dinner? We had split pea soup, smoked white fish, pickled herring, rye bread with herb butter, haroset (applesauce, cinnamin and wine), pytti pannam (onion, potoato, beef hash), plus steamed kale and wonderful Swedish-style beans, with honey and vinaeger. DeLISH!

The small restuarant/tavern is filled with Sousaphones, Euphoniums, and of course, bigass TUBAs. Lots and lots of tubas! We were seated in one of the booths, with a world map next to us on the wall.
