10月22日(木)にMicrosoftの新しいOS「Windows 7」が発売となり、約3週間が経過しようとしています。NPD Groupの調査によると、Windows 7の10月22日(木)からのセールスが2007年1月のWindowsVista発売開始時に比べて234％も高かったことが明らかになりました。

「Windows 7」の前のOSである「Windows Vista」はウィジェットをはじめ色々な新機軸を取り入れましたがおおむね不評で、さらに前のOSである「WindowsXP」を使用し続けている人は少なくありません。やむを得ずVista搭載PCを購入した人でも、ダウングレード権を行使してOSをすぐにWindowsXPに変更したという人は多いのではないでしょうか。
