From time to time, Google has a little fun with their front page logo.
There have been all kinds of 'special' Google logos for holidays, special events, charities and even 'mystery logos' over the years.
For the past 3 days, Google's logo has been showcasing the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street.
There's no disputing that Sesame Street has had a huge impact on our society. Our kids might even be a just little different today if there had never been a Cookie Monster ... ?!
I'm pretty sure I could still sit through an episode or two of Sesame Street and crack a calm smile.
On the other hand (and it's been said before), for some reason Mountainview seems to have an issue with a salute to Memorial Day and/or Veterans Day. To the best of my knowledge, the infamous logo has never saluted the people here in the US (and abroad) that have died (or hopefully lived to tell about the fight) for freedom.
It's not just about America. It's International.
History books document the wars all too well .... and tell the stories of the brave men and women who have given their all.
