La ricerca della professoressa di retorica  Andrea Lunsford, recentemente segnalata in un articolo comparso sull’ultimo numero di Wired (“i letterati di Twitter” di Clive Thompson), mi ha stimolato a riflettere nuovamente sulle cause che rendono la comunicazione e la condivisione delle informazioni tanto difficile all’interno di molte strutture aziendali.


Tra le varie cause di ordine culturale e strutturale, c’è anche il fatto che molti impiegati (e anche qualche manager) hanno perso l’abitudine di scrivere. Per molti, l’ultima volta in cui è stato prodotto un testo scritto risale ai trascorsi scolastici e non si tratta certo di scritti con particolari finalità comunicative (semmai finalizzate a prendere un bel voto).


Ma scrivere per il giudizio del professore o del proprio capo ufficio, non è come scrivere per comunicare, per discutere, per convincere, organizzare o condividere informazioni.
