I said goodbye to Rich and I arrived in Medan after a 7 hours boat journey!
My first impression of Indonesia wasn't that good...as soon as I stepped out the boat i got sprayed (face included) with i don't know what kind of chemicals!!
Pig Flu....
After the passport control dozen of people already tried to rip me off but i made it to the ugliest city I've ever seen (oh yes, much worse than Milan :P) on a local bus.
On the bus I was sitting between Lisa (Ireland) and Ida (Sweden), also solo travellers.
In Medan we looked for a guest house where we could spend the night, since it was too late to go anywhere else.
My plans are still unclear so in the morning I decided to follow Lisa and Ida to Bukit Lawang!

Bukit Lawang is a village in the jungle and home to the orangutan.
I wasn't planning to but I went trekking with a Polish couple for a day.
