It only took three days for my Indonesian visa to be ready. So early on a Friday morning, along with a crazy and at that time drunk English guy I left Kuala Lumpur.
We're now in Penang island on the north-west coast of Malaysia.
Georgetown is a small colonial town, with some lovely buildings. A perfect place to stroll about a few days while waiting for the next boat to Sumatra, if it isn't for the heat which is nearly unbearable...
Therefore, we spend most time of our days here eating delicious Punjabi food in little india, which is now number one on my "best food on my trip" list!
Hopefully Indonesian food will be as good...
