Greg Wood reports live as Europe's horses try to make their mark on international racing's biggest day

Greg will be here with all the latest news from Santa Anita shortly before tonight's first race, the Juvenile Turf at 6.45pm GMT.

Beethoven, the Dewhurst winner, goes in the Juvenile at 8.49pm. Europe has a very strong team for the Mile at 9.28pm with Goldikova, Delegator, Gladiatorus and Zacinto. Mastercraftsman tries the Dirt Mile at 10.12pm.

Our team for the Turf at 10.57pm is Conduit, Spanish Moon, Red Rocks and Dar Re Mi. Finally, the Classic is at 11.45pm, when Twice Over and Rip Van Winkle shoot for glory in what many regard as the world's most prestigious horse race.
