Summary

Everybody has heard of social media and if you haven’t before now you can’t lose anymore time any longer. Even though most if not all of you might be familiar with social media, some of you may not be familiar with the notion of web 2.0. No it’s not a software or anything like that. It’s essentially means the second generation in internet progression. Web 1.0 is essentially sites with stagnant pages, you place some content on the website and never change anything ever again except for very minor adjustments. The website doesn’t grow nor is it interactive. Web 2.0 websites are sites that are always growing in content and is interactive. As you can guess the Google prefer s web 2.0 websites and rewards them as such.


Social media websites are web 2.0 websites, but it isn’t limited to only social media websites. Forums, blogs, and other communities are also interactive and have growing content.
