No one is more aware of the impact of new technology than journalists. But technology, often received as a threat, can also provide new opportunities. After Gerry Jackson, the director of the SW Radio Africa, gave an impressive and shocking insight to what is going on in Zimbabwe at the Activate09 conference, the Guardian technology team decided to be of some help.
