The director of the Governor's Energy Office recently interviewed 20 people from scores of applicants and hired someone who had worked on Republican Bob Beauprez's gubernatorial campaign.



"He was the best for the job," director Tom Plant said this week.



"We hire people to work here based on their knowledge and their expertise as well as their dedication, creativity and innovation."
