However, there is still a big issue that is underlying in this whole revolutionary period for Twitter.com.
People are actually actively adding themselves back onto their created Twitter lists. Some great example of this include Techcrunch holding 14 of the 30 places on the /technews list (created by @techcrunch) for Techcrunch content.
The reason this overfilling of Techcrunch content is not necessary is that @techcrunch already has a /team list with all the Techcrunch writers on there.
I cannot be the one to impose “rules” on Twitter list making (obviously ), and there are no set guidelines made by Twitter. But it just seems a little unorthodox to be including your own content into Twitter lists (especially as the user is likely already following you!)
