File not found error on Sharepoint search config

Summary
Using WSS I am trying to add a new SharePoint search database. I have created a new database (150mb) and filled out all the correct details on the search config page


It tries to start the service and says FILE NOT FOUND



Is there anything I am missing when i am setting up a new search database. is there an option I havent hit to make it a proper WSS search database?
