TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Barry Callebaut, the Zurich chocolate giant, said on Wednesday that it agreed to acquire Spanish chocolate maker Chocovic SA from Nederland Group. Terms weren't disclosed. Chocovic specializes in chocolate and other products for industry and for artisanal customers. Callebaut said the deal reflects its effort to expand geographically and to further build its core business with industry and with artisans. Nederland Group, Barcelona, will retain ownership of its other activities, including Moner Cocoa and a cocoa processor, Callebaut said.
