The ones that started it all, a long time ago… Geocities… is dead. Now the net is a few billion pages lighter.


If you remember the good old days, back before MySpace, Geocities ruled.


Anyone could let the artist shine through with their easy to build websites.


This site is probably most representative of the best of Geocities.


Wired has a good farewell article.
