Scusate la battuta nel titolo, presa da un vecchio, simpatico post di Chris Anderson. Ma Google Wave è veramente una bestia strana, che cambia radicalmente le regole del gioco. La prima impressione è che scardini completamente i concetti di privato-pubblico e di sincrono-asincrono. Non c’è più differenza tra una conversazione a due via mail (asincrona) o chat (sincrona), né tra questa (privata) e una con cinque, dieci interlocutori (pubblica). Si può essere chiamati a partecipare a Wave di altri, come nelle discussioni su FriendFeed o simili; lavorare in modalità collaborativa con piccoli gruppi, condividendo anche documenti; chattare direttamente con un amico; eccetera. Il risultato però sarà una persistenza integrata delle comunicazioni, che non si sparpagliano più in diversi contesti. Stare dentro Wave è come inserire il turbo sullo Shuttle, o essere proiettati tre anni avanti.
