Earlier this year Canon announced its new Hybrid Image stabilization technology, and soon thereafter, the first lens to use it: the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM. The new lens has enough bells and whistles to get Canon's top-end treatment, adding it to its lineup of L-class lenses. Are the revisions worth an upgrade, or can macro enthusiasts stay in the field with their current lenses?
