In a very natural extension of the lists feature Twitter finally rolled out last week, the company added a widget which lets you embed tweets from an entire list.
Why might this be useful? If you’re a business owner, you might want to show off public conversation from your team or employees. Or maybe you’d want to play up your curation skills by promoting a list you’ve created around food or gaming, for example.
The new widget is pretty easy to create. You just enter in the name of the list and adjust the title, colors and size at http://twitter.com/goodies/widget_list. You don’t have to be the owner of the list to make a widget around it.
The new widget plays off others ones Twitter has released. There are widgets that can show off your own Twitter stream, your favorite tweets or conversations around a specific subject (which builds off Twitter’s search engine).
