Wir sind einen weiten Weg gegangen in den – sagen wir  - letzten 10 Jahren kommerzielles Internet. Aus ein paar bunten Online-Broschüren von allerlei Firmen haben wir eine E-Commerce Revolution erlebt, die Giganten wie Amazon oder eBay hervorgebracht hat. Isolierte Homepages von Privatpersonen haben sich vernetzt, das Phänomen „Blogging“ ist dabei hervor gegangen und trägt seinen Teil dazu bei, dem klassischen Journalismus das Wasser abzugraben. Eine Umdrehung auf dem Innovationsrad später kamen „Social Networks“ wie XING oder Facebook des Weges. Mit Twitter wiederum können wir unsere Freunde in maximal 140 Zeichen an für uns wichtigen Augenblicken teilhaben lassen.


So weit so gut, der Versuch einer Rückschau in einem Absatz. Wenn wir uns versuchen von der Hektik der täglichen „Announcements“ etwas zu lösen, wo Facebook die Welt in zwei Lager spaltet, ob der neue Newsfeed eine gute Idee gewesen ist oder den Untergang des Abendlandes bedeutet.
