Former Bebo and MTV exec Angel Gambino is joining Latin American social network Sonico as its VP for business development at the company’s Buenos Aires HQ.

She’s tasked with signing partnerships to reach users on different platforms, to bring in revenue through “content and applications”. Two-year-old Sonico raised $4.3 million in first round VC funding last year, has 80 staff and claims 42 million registered users.
