Regional Police To Benefit From Software, Training American Academy Of Applied Forensics At CPCC Hosts Internet Evidence Collection Course
Huntersville, NC - November 2, 2009 -- Investigators from across the Carolinas have been invited to receive training from Reno, Nevada-based Vere Software. The two-day course, running Nov. 9-10, will help them better understand and process evidence they collect on Internet-based crimes.
Hosted by the American Academy of Applied Forensics, which is based on the North Campus of the Central Piedmont Community College, the training covers various aspects of Internet investigation, including detection and prevention of Internet-based crimes, social networking sites, bulletin boards and newsgroups, instant messaging and chat, and undercover operations.
It also covers how Vere Software's WebCase product strengthens online evidence collection and its legal defensibility.
