Summary
Looks like Verizon's Motorola Droid isn't gonna be the 1st phone to have Android 2.0!!! =D

Well, this is actually the Android 2.0 SDK ported (very roughly) over to the G1/Dream from Akira Harada. All props go to him and the great things he's doing for the Android community =)
If you're excited as I am for Android 2.0 Eclair then this is a great way to get a preview of what it will be like (not necessarily how it will perform).
As soon as Cyanogen gets the source code he will cook up a fully functional ROM again, BIG UPS to Akriah for making this preview possible. =)

Once again, this is just a PREVIEW. There are NO Google apps, NO Market, NO way of installing apps... Its just so you can get a FEEL for the look and some of the features of 2.0 Eclair. =)

As you can see from the video, visually, some things have changed. I feel like Google makes their stuff open source to see what other people do with it, then they kinda "bite off" other's improvements.
