Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris. More than 200,000,000 people have visited the tower since its construction in 1889, making it the most visited paid monument in the world.



Couldn't visit Paris and not post a picture of this icon. Don't really like any of the pictures I got that day, and no we didn't go to the top--it was a zoo! I do like what the sigma 10-20 did it though.
