SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The Environmental Protection Agency ordered the Marina, Calif.-based operations of Mexican cement maker Cemex SAB de CV to comply with the Clean Water Act, the agency said Friday. The EPA said Cemex failed to get authorization to discharge storm water under federal regulations. The violations were discovered during a September inspection at a Cemex sand and gravel mine in Marina.
