I know. Some bloggers really don't realize how much commenting can really help them. Hopefully enough people finally figure out that they have to put a little bit of effort in.

Hm, I'm not entirely convinced. True, building your name as a brand online, sharing and fueling the discussion helps, but commenting for traffic and readership seems like the old way to go. I much prefer to enter the conversation in places like this, and Twitter/FF of course. Still, no doubt that when the topic is a shared one, commenting helps. As long as you do it for the content, not the visibility.
