Summary

Christophe Humbert from Path to SharePoint is working on the labs for the live online workshops he will be delivering for us starting at the end of this month. He setup a demo page that incorporates many of the solutions he will be presenting in the workshops.


The first workshop, Easy Tabs Interface - Simple SharePoint Navigation for Complex Information, shows how to present complex information is a simple, tabbed interface. On the demo page, look at the calendar. It is embedded in a tabbed interface, each month having its own tab. Notice that when you click a tab, the page does not reload, yet the information refreshes for the choosen month… slick.


While you are looking at the calendar, notice that each of the events is color coded. This is part of his “Killer SharePoint Calendar Solutions” workshop. Mouse over an event. No need to drill down to see the details. Think about it: color coding with mouse over exposure of the event details. Seems pretty useful to me.
