And then Yosemite happened, and finally a reunion with my U.S. family! It was really good to catch up after all this time... Thank you sister for putting this trip together, thank you Mark for inviting me along and thank you couzzie for the boots-- they're great and they've been lots of places by now!

Tags or no tags, our group of 8 spent four days game-driving and hiking through the park. Went up to Misty Falls on day one, visited the giant sequoia trees on day two, and had a fabulous sunny morning up on Glacier Point with EVERYTHING brightly on display including Half Dome. We saw two bears, one so busy munching he wouldn't show his face, the other one more curious.

Discovered a one-way bridge with a light that said, Wait for 15 minutes, and decided that no way was there going to be any oncoming traffic in the dead of night and no way would this one-way stretch of road be very long... turns out there were four cars (with pretty angry drivers)... and we had to bac ...Read the full article
