My fear is that Facebook is looting the geat intellectual capital and innovation of Friendfeed without much concern for Friendfeed as a going social concern. My hope is that my fear is unfounded.

It seems like many people are unhappy for one reason or another, but doesn't this also seem like a perfect opportunity for socialmedian to pick up some of the disenfranchised friendfeed users. Today's events made me reflect on when socialmedian was acquired, but thanks to Jason and Xing, they have kept this site running. I just hope it continues to do so.
