Summary

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend. I usually go to a friend’s house each year because he throws a huge party complete with BBQ, beer and fireworks. His fireworks display is not your run of the mill back yard fireworks show either - he and a friend typically buy over $1,000 worth of fireworks and put on a synchronized show. It’s a big hobby of his and one he does well. I missed his party this year because our baby is less than two weeks old, and let’s face it… that is no place for a newborn! I’m already looking forward to next year’s party!

This year my in laws came out to visit us and our new baby, so we took it easy and grilled some burgers. It was a relaxing weekend, which is just what we need right now.
