Summary

We’re one month into the Summer of Social Good and we’d like to provide a few tips for newcomers and previous donors about how to get more involved in the campaign.

After a lot of great feedback and help from you, our readers, I’d like to introduce two main new initiatives: #Teams4Good and “Promotion for Donation.”

Looking for Team Leaders – #Teams4Good

Through the GlobalGiving platform, we are going to set up a competition between 10 teams to see who can raise the most money for the Summer of Social Good fund. If you believe in the Summer of Social Good and feel you can motivate your base to come out ahead, then this competition is for you. Apply to be a Fundraising Team Leader here: http://bit.ly/sosg-leader and on Friday we’ll announce the teams who will then have one month to raise as much money as possible for the charitable cause.

The Prize: Winners will have a choice between:

- 2 VIP tickets and $500 reimbursement for travel expenses to the August 28th Social Good Conference in NYC
