MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Three people were injured over the weekend when an inflatable carnival ride floated into the air with a boy inside.

Middletown police said Tyler Maloney was inside the inflatable slide Saturday when it came unmoored and floated about 40 feet into the air.

The attraction floated over a batting cage set up at Goldman Park and landed a few feet away, and onlookers cut a hole in the ride's fabric to remove the boy.
