As the business that I run and the industry that I am in is ever changing, it is difficult to pinpoint one area of change that is a challenge. In Internet Marketing change is constant, as new and more effective ways of marketing myself and my clients spring up all the time.
Whether the birth of a new way of promotion, or the decline of an old and previously trusted way, it is important for me to keep up with change, and alert my clients and potential clients to such fluctuations.
What is your strategy for dealing with it?
I constantly research and test my industry, and take advice from my peers. I’m of the mind that no matter how long you’ve been in any business, you can only grow by learning to adapt and change to the climate around you.
Those that refuse to grow, adapt and listen will find themselves left far, far behind when they might have been frontrunners.
Are you using social media as part of that strategy, if so, how?
The learning curve for internet marketing branding is so huge. I've recently joined the field and even the social networking required can be overwhelming. Before I began blogging and trying to draw readers to my site, my primary use for the internet was as a information tool. Social networking is a completely new genre. Be prepared to spend many hours networking yourself and your site.
