The wonders of the worldwide web do not impress millions of Britons, who told researchers they would choose to remain unconnected even if they were given a free PC and broadband connection.
A total of 43 per cent of people have turned their backs on the internet, according to a poll.
The findings come ahead of the Government's Digital Britain report, to be published soon, which will develop the idea of universal broadband in the UK. Read the full article
