After a day of mowing and weed eating the yard I took a walk out to the garden to add some goodies to the compost bin. As I looked over each raised bed and the wonderful growth I was horrified to see that some pest had invaded the leaves of my potatoes. Each and every one of the leaves were laden with tiny holes everywhere.
The tiny black dot at the top is the beetle and the spots are all the holes.
Upon further research (calling a friend and googleing “holes on potato leaves”), I found that what I had was an infestation of Flea Beetles. Not only that, most of them were looking like they were humping each other and getting ready to lay eggs. OH NO!!!!!
