I offer these tips as a guide to a blog promotion system strategy which I call, “Give Google a bone.” You can get 2 big advertising payoffs with these methods:
I love case studies, so I appreciate the time you put into getting this together. I'll keep track of it and see how you do over time. And Good Luck! ...although luck has nothing to do with it.
Thanks so much for everything you do; the insight you provide is fantastic and is one of the factors enabling my to gain great page position on Google with several of my blog posts.
Over the last few days I had a couple of posts that did very well. The success inspired me to create my post regarding techniques to drive blog traffic and gain great page position which I published yesterday.
I included a link from that post to your "Blog Traffic Technique" post so my readers could learn more about LSI or whatever people want to call it. It was also my way of saying thanks!
Oh and today, my post was #8-Page 1 of Google for the same phrase (less than 24 hours after it was published) and is #1-Page 1 for enhanced blog traffic techniques. And that was with minimal social buzz. (Should I light it up on SMS to see what happens?)
Thanks for the blog promotion information. I love seeing the results and feel I am learning a lot by reading your information. Everyone should read this if they are interested in promoting a blog or website!
Your results are certainly impressive - and I do agree with your comment about Google's Page Rank. Even though your PR is still a zero, that doesn't matter because if you're getting traffic and buzz, your PR will eventually rise. We all need to concentrate in the right areas and the ranking will follow. I know an article marketer who will have PR0 & PR1 sites that make much more money than higher PR sites.
Richard Dennis is the prime example of the "New SEO" which preaches that you should focus on the relevancy and quality of the content with your readers in mind. It is actually a misnomer as it is more of a case of back to the future as that and not clever tricks to game the system, which the founders of the search engines had in mind. In other words for search engines to return search engine result pages (serps) most relevant to the query of the searcher. Richard's method is the best guarantee for your content to be consistently found and returned by search engines. Oscars and Nobel prizes (like the recognition deserved by someone) often comes only years later. This approach certainly merits recognition for its proven results. Kudos
This information sure has me stocking up on bones to give to Google! For those of us looking for concrete ways to build presence and rank for our websites, and not afraid of the work involved to accomplish that, you have provided valuable and time-saving instructions. I like to see measurable results like you have provided, and the steps to take to get those results. Thanks very much!
A very interesting experiment, people still tend to put far too much emphasis on PageRank forgetting that what you are seeing as the PR of a site is historic not current.
This is a very interesting case study. On an interesting side note it would be interesting to know what the "average" blogger knows about SEO and promotion.
richard again these are very, very, very interesting and impressive results which certainly makes you think twice before posting content to your central hub or submitting articles to ezine.
Great results and a fine post. What struck me the most was your willingness to share your "comedy of errors" and the importance and problems of targeting short headline keyword phrases. Now that I think about I've been struck with title sabotage.
