Summary
I don’t think this blog would be a fraction of what it is, without Flickr. The images included with many posts draw the eye to the page and create an atmosphere for the rest of the piece. It’s also one aspect of a blog that is commented on the most. Read the full article

Pictures like music speak louder than words and communicate moods, emotions etc which engage the reader

the whole field of who 'owns' information is getting very interesting this article does not address that issue which was a disappointment but all the same it is very informative about where to get great photos.

Great article. You clarified a couple of things I had been wondering about, particularly with regard to Creative Commons.

Thanks for the information. It's a good reminder about intellectual property law.

One reason I love Flickr is to get the HTML code for any picture. I use that a lot in my squidoo lenses so that I can put a picture anywhere I want in the lens. Thanks for this article!

A great way to connect with friends when you are travelling. It is simple and easy to upload photos from an internet cafe.

Very interesting. You've opened my eyes to all that Flickr is. I have not used this great resource yet, but have bookmarked this post so I can return when I do start to use Flickr (which will be soon thanks to this great info)

Thanks for the info. I had given up on using "clip art" and other photos because of lack of variety and also not wanting to pay for everything for an occasional amateur use. This gives me another avenue.
