If you’re in business and trying to cultivate clients online, you cannot underestimate the value of Social Media. I recall a time – not too long ago – when You Tube and Face Book were enjoying the cachet of two frat boys vying for the attention of everyone in the dorm. Their robust synergy relegated them to the ilk of an elite online gaming community, where participation appeared to be reserved for a select group of way-cool, computer nerds – and certainly no one over 30 was allowed.
Their instant gratification click-of-a-mouse-and-we-deliver, platform enamored them instantly to new media darlings, but then, more importantly, to struggling artists entrepreneurs, and creatives, who jumped on the opportunity to become part of a community that provided – among other things – instant exposure.
