Summary

Over this past weekend socialmedian was hit fairly hard by some pesky spammers who created multiple accounts and then proceeded to spam comments across the site.

socialmedian is fighting back. Today we are implementing a number of spam-defending features on the site.

Spammers can be persistent but we think we've come up with some fairly good protections. We'll launch some of them today and then more/better over time.

As always, we ask that socialmedian users please help us police the site and let us know of any suspicious or malicious behaviors.
