Serious? Ok, so combine that with the fact that Google just announced Twitter is coming to Google Connect. Does that mean you can use that as a workaround to login to Google Connect using your Facebook account??? :)
I think we ought to look at connect services in their component parts - Signon, profle and friend list. It would great to be able to signon with any connect service (=openID)- be able to choose a profile to use (this would allow different profiles for specific sites)- and then choose which group of friends to bring along.
There should be just one "Connect" service... actually there is one already. How about OpenID? I'm not signing on to any of them yet. Let's see who will win the battle of the connects here... Is it feasible to think that Google and Facebook might be merging together someday?
