Summary
Al Gore may not have invented the Internet, but he did co-found Current.tv, the cable TV network with a strong web presence. Stopping by the company’s San Francisco offices earlier this evening, Gore told a small group of techies, Twitterers and bloggers: “I’ll be on Twitter by tomorrow”. Read the full article

When Al Gore starts following socialmedian you'll know that he's made it :-)

Never mind. I almost posted something in the wrong place. I'm so glad there is an edit feature!

@jasongoldberg So, let's start a socialmedian campaign to help the poor man out and get him OVER HERE, Jason! :-)

Something like, "Dear, Mr. Al Gore, We love ya and we appreciate your being on Twitter and stuff but, if you really knew where to be on the Internet, you'd be HERE on the Internet: socialmedian.com! "

Houston, it appears we have a little bit of a problem. I posted only one message. It generated the same post X's. Question is: how to delete the 3 extra messages from this thread?

Yeah, the day Al Gore has time to spend the effort and energy necessary to use Social Media effectively? It has totally stopped being signal and started being all noise... ;)

I haven't seen a tweet out of Al yet! At least I didn't write the story.

@GeekMommy Yeah, too bad we can't complain about noise without adding noise to the noise we're complaining about. Guess we might as well toss our brief bit of excitement aside and get back to non-noise posts...

He'll probably have someone tweet for him like Barack and McCain do. Lame!

This is ridiculous, why would anyone care what Al Gore tweets about? He is not in government, he is not in the media, he is in the movie business.

I would much rather see more congressional reps. using Twitter. I don't need anymore tweets about environmentally friendly stuff, I already have plenty of them.
