: Hi 5 Rhonda ... I like the way you offer this cool advice here - I had in my mind you have to be passionate about what you do on a daily basis to earn your daily bread so its easier to find some one you no who does what your passionate about better - and have them mentor you to their standards saves time saves the trouble saves money in the long haul to success - “If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.” By Zig Ziglar
: Hi Rhonda, they say, "the hand the hand that rocks the craddle rules the world". Good mentors and coaches are like good mothers. They nurtur and teach the right way for their youngsters to go. It's all about leaving a legassy of hope. Thanks for the insights.
: Yes, it is tough to find a really good mentor. A lot of what I have seen is that many (at least in the IM niche), are really only interested in furthering their own presence or authority, and not really that interested in truly helping and mentoring. It's certainly is nice when you really do find the helpful one's out there though.

If you've been keeping up with Facebook's blog (or if you've logged in over the last day or two), you may have heard that Facebook is about to implement Usernames. That might sound like a small thing to you, and Facebook's blog suggests that it is. On the contrary, I think it is more likely the beginning of what will become (Read More)

Be on the lookout, people - there's a new Twitter worm called Twittercut tearing its way through the microblogging platform at an alarming rate. If you've seen some of the people you follow tweeting "OMG I just got over 1000 followers today from http://twittercut.com", they've got the Twittercut worm. (Read More)
: Hi 5 folks - I don't understand this how can you get a 1000 followers a day - I thought 50 was the max Twitter allowed - any ways your right to Get the word out! All you're going to gain from Twittercut is a headache and the scorn of your peers!
: I'm not even sure what I would do if I got 1,000 followers in a day. It'd be difficult to try to get to know all of them at once. Slow, steady growth seems the best way to go.
: Yes, Twitter has totally taken off. I really like the social aspect of it, and am working on my following as well. But, really 1,000 followers a day in this manner probably wouldn't do you a whole lot of good from a business stand point. Sure, every body likes a good following but it's targeted followers that are important. Not only that, many of these followers per day would probably be from just "spam" Twitter accounts. Great post..

Apple and their iPhone App Store have been in the news quite a bit lately - and not in a good way. A series of high-profile application rejections and generally poor decision-making regarding their application approval process have led many iPhone advocates to question the cult of Apple - and their vague, preposterous stand (Read More)
: This will all work itself out. Apple and the iPhone App Stores are still a bit draconian in their methods. They've always been that way though. Overall, I think the upcoming competition from Blackberry and Nokia can only be good for us consumers as prices come down and more bells and whistles are added and the apps become simpler and more user friendly. : What you think greatly affects what happens in your life. If everything else is going against what you would like to happen, always be on the positive side of things. Don't get persuaded by your emotions to think of the worst. When you have had so many thoughts all clogging up in your mind, take time to clear your head. It's a good advice so that you can focus on what you should be doing to achieve success.

: Hi five folks - when I tried MLM what I was taught was especially with certain products and depending on which products chosen - was its best if you use the product yourself so you understood what it was all about before you sold it on to a customer because some how I was told the prospect would be more in tune with you if you honestly spoke about the product from experience and I think I got the message back from my own customers with repeat orders - some how the pay structure was the last thought in my mind and thats probably the reason I drifted away from MLM I should have read a post like yours before I went in to MLM - then MLM might have turned out differently - what i did like about the MLM biz was the enthusiasm spread by the most successful dealers in this MLM industry it was very refreshing and a buzz going to the distributors meetings a lot of marketing knowledge can be learned through this kind of salesmanship model -
: I agree that all MLM compensation plans are flawed you just have to find one that you can live with. All these plans sound great in the beginning but somehow all them money seems to go to just a few.

: The internet gives us the power to connect with virtually anyone, and more importantly, to connect with people that can teach us, mentor us, and empower us to be great at whatever we want. It is an opportunity like no other in my opinion.
I really like your point about looking for people that are on fire about what they do and supporting them. Although it may take a few years, supporting a network of enthusiastic, positive people could lead to all sorts of incredible openings down the track.
: This is a great article and I agree with the people you hang around will have a great influence on where you go in life. If you are not happy where you are at, change the situation so you are happy.

: Yeah, good point here. How many of us have an agenda when were talking with a new prospect or contact. Take the time to build a relationship. That leaves the door open for new beginnings.
: I think humans have a very strong need to know why and how. We have a hard time simply being in the "unknown" or the "mystery", which is the same to me as wanting closure.
