: Yes, hold you head high. In drag racing, there are incremental timers at 60ft, 330ft, 660ft, 1000ft then the finish line, 1320ft from the start. Each one is a goal, to get to each point quicker, and to be there at the finish 1st! Great analogy.

: It's true that you can have multiple streams of income, or passive income, with a home business. I've always been uneasy about depending on just ONE source of income, so with an online business, especially, it's possible to have lots of different sources for your money. That way if one goes sour, there are replacements. One more reason to love the Net! :-)

: Definitely, there are more people beginning to realize that home business and working for yourself is the way to go. Nobody can ever tell you that you are laid off or fired. And yes, your right, with the ability to add multiple income streams, it's smart not to put all of your eggs into one basket.

: Home business are a great way to make additional income. I've started my internet business with no income or traffic. It been watching my small website grow and it's especially fun to see my pages first on google. I find that the tax advantages are the biggest advantage of creating a home based business.

This is even more true in the age of social media where the buyer has all the power. Consumers have gotten much more savvy and are demanding high quality products and excellent customer service. : It is easy to set up a blog and can even be done for free on viral sites like blogger.com. All businesses should have a blog and then decide what they want their purpose of the blog to be. Customer service can be integrated, a social aspect, and definitely information about the products and services offered and their benefits and solutions. : I hear what you're saying about the problems in setting up a 'traditional' site, vs a blog. Actually, though, I find the blog harder to manage because there is less freedom. I can do things with Dreamweaver and HTML that my Wordpress blog can't do. However, a blog has one huge advantage of a static site: RSS. You've gotta love auto-announcements whenever you make a new post.
