Feature #2: Very Easy AuthenticationI've used the Restful Authentication plugin on several Rails projects, and find it to be an incredibly intuitive and easy way to manage all aspects of user authentication, including registering, logging in to, and out of the application. But perhaps it's overkill if you're simply looking (Read More)

Living on the cutting edge as early adopters at times can seem like an exclusive club. The tools we use every day have funny names to the outside world - Twitter... OPML... Technorati... Plurk? But while we're hanging out in these oxygen-poor communities, and seeking out new ways to aggregate all our online activities in on (Read More)
: @louisgray I use the email feature all the time. I used to email my self so I can store great and important stuff in Gmail. Thanks for a great article.
: @cass Try commenting when you share, instead of after sharing. If you comment after sharing socialmedian does not re-crawl and place the story again.
: @scottwheaton Just as an FYI - yep, I comment at the point of sharing, using g reader's 'share with note' function, if that's what you mean. Still does not import over. I'm ok with it, but just in case you guys would like to look into it :)

: Makes sense at this point. The problem will really unfold over the next few months when company's that historically relay on credit to survive will start folding left and right. Cash basis economy. No ticket, no laundry.
: @pkitano @Billshkin It's funny that you used Forbes editorial to make your point. Wise choice. The other day I was over at my Dad's place, and I came across a Forbes Mag. from April. I was curious what Forbes editorial would be about so I flipped it open and I was blown away. Everything that is taking place right now, he was sounding a warning bell about back then. He warned about about the looming credit crunch, subprime, and a possible devaluation of the dollar. He even was wondering what kind of Fed chairman Bernanke would be. I always respected Forbes, but that respect is even stronger now. BTW, I just read an Article that predicts China will slip into a recession , which would catch most investor's off guard. However, the rate cut in Australia seems to be helping in Asia.
