My son is almost 12 and was dx with ADD when he was 6. Been on meds since about 6 1/2, started with Strattera, no help, ritalin, no help, then Adderall XR was a LIFE CHANGER for him. what happens when you have trialed adderall? I'm intrigued because I too take concerta but have in the past had success with adderall for a few months, the symptom control was far greater and it was far smoother in spectrum control. Who here is on a high dose of ADD meds, i.e. more than is 'recommended'? or combines a stimulant with strattera?
I'm on 72 mg of Concerta right now, and I think my doctor is going to up the dose.
What dose do you take?
