Twitter Versus Facebook, A Comparison Of The Top Users
Mar 24, 2009

All Facebook Yesterday I began doing some research to determine if there was a shift taking place among top Twitter users and Facebook users given the new Facebook design. I was trying to determine the most effective barometer of user influence across both sites and the only thing I could come up with was a comparison of the top users (Read More)

@robdiana what do you think? - there are some interesting points here, 10m users and some serious reach for its size with Twitter but the 200m gorilla is still Facebook.

Surprise: Social Networking Increases Efficiency But Don’t Expect Facebook Ban to be Lifted
Nov 11, 2008

Profy.Com A new study released today by AT&T proves that social networking at the workplace actually happens to increase efficiency of employees instead of distracting them as we usually think about it - depending on the tools used and the purposes. The study has been carried out for AT&T by Dynamic Markets in five European countries (Read More)

: So how do the hard working folks keep the new liberal president and the largely democratic senate and house out of our pockets. The one thing that we cannot afford is 12% unemployment, 12% annual cost of living increases, tax rates doubling accross the board, etc that has been seen when liberalism runs rampant. So where does the small business man go when the mandates that our new president says he will pursue makes it impossible to stay afloat and we die, along with our employees joining the unemployment lines..... We can only hope that he is a smart as the "majority" thinks he is and he does not play the stupid card.

The Ultimate Election Day 2008 Toolkit

: Palin 2012, I can't wait for her to clean up the mess Obama and his socialist, code word Progressive; welfare state will create in the US.

The Congress lead by Reid and Pelosi with Obama will run rampant with big government, high taxes, and regulations while taking our rights away one at a time. We can join France in a world of elitist snobs in the good fight against capitalist and freedom while China and Russia win the heart and sole of the world with their Marxist and Lenin need to dominate. America the great is doomed to become mediocre at best. Who can the liberals blame with the republican conservatives out of the way? It will be us the individuals because we did not give enough to support the government mandates of tax and spend. It never ceases to amaze how governent spending is never equated to the fact the money for the endless programs that spin off huge inefficient bureaucracies is taken from those who work to provide the jobs that produce the capital.

Just think of the possibilities, open borders with hordes of illegal aliens to choke our schools, medical facilities, social programs and loss of national identity. An abortion clinic to kill the unborn on every corner, no more executions of the serial killers because life is sacred if you or one of the lucky ones to survive an abortion. Our Gay population will be able to be married by law in our formerly sacred institutions of worship because of a US law that will now control our morality by editing our Holy Bible to fit what our governments considers politically correct.

The next most protected group will be the peace loving Muslims who will be given tax supported Madras schools to teach the words of Allah, “ convert to Islam or die by the sword” with one other alternative to death or conversion being subjugation by paying atribute tax as a safur. Just when we thought the Muslims are finished we find that we or now under the Shari law. Finally our women can be put back in their place and stoned to death as punishment for being raped comes to mind. Or as Ann Coulter said if only they would stop killing us to prove how much they love peace.

But wait, there is more good news. Finally we can appoint those activist Judges who finally impose their will on the ignorant masses who had put their faith in the US Constitution and Bill of Rights that those poor uninformed founding fathers put in place as a noose around the necks of us the truly liberated. We should never be trusted to exercise free will when our government can do it for us so much better.

Finally we can have freedom of speech when Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity, Michael Savage, and Mark Levine with are outlawed in favor of the more enlightened Al Gore.

The days of a country that held language, borders and culture as a meaningful unifying factor can be quickly be disassembled in favor of a true open society to pursue its own self interest as long as it meets with the approval of the politically correct philosophy of our all knowing government. Thank you Mr. Savage for platform of Language, Borders, and Culture, if only we had listened to you..

Well since it has been a Republican Pres and Republican Congress for most of last 8 yrs, since Dems only shifted into majority last 18 months, who has been driving this pathetic economy for last 8 yrs. As a Republican, very disappointed with McCain who has with time grown sour angry unstable corrupt; with economic disaster etc, his idiotic choice of dumbviciouspalin:
- clueless on pledge of allegiance, not to mention practically everything else
- governor 90 days/yr of population less than most modern cities or American counties
- says no real Americans except in a few states
- doesn't want to be part of U.S.,loves Alaska Independ. Party
- religious hypocrite abstinence? didn't know for 5 months pregnant h.s. dropout daughter
- corrupt fires people with elected power to just be spiteful, 'hell hath no fury'; troopergate
- spends $25000 taxpayer money on funtrips plane/hotel bills for kids brought i.e. 5 nights to a 4 hour business event
- cut funding 60% for special needs children until she has one
- makes rape victims pay for the rape kits yet got cozy with big oil for piles of cash
additionally, McNasty is more and more mentally shaky too angry PTSD; pathetic grad 894 of 899 crashed 5 warplanes gave info on his POW mates for better treatment disliked by Vietnam Vets and votes against improving Veterans benefits cheats on wife 1 after her traumatic disfiguring car crash and leaves her and 3 kids heartbroken, condescending elitist with 9 houses 13 cars and doesn't have much common decency can't shake hands or look people in the eye has mad rage outbursts 72 yrs old has cancer 4 times unhealthy 1 heartbeat away from trailertrashpalin pres; we can't have those two or more economic incompetence.

: For corporate social media, I agree with FaceBook, LinkedIn and perhaps MySpace (depending on your targeted demographic). I have advised some corporate clients to use Twitter depending on resources, objectives, etc but social bookmarking sites in my opinion are not a "must have" in CSM. In the Social Media space I think we have to be careful to develop strategies that fit our client, are resource efficient and align with their overall objectives.
