: The marketing ought to be capable of selling with marketing and order taking alone. I have a view that sales people are out there to learn about the process of selling their goods, and we know that we can automate process.
Look at how different "goods" are sold to determine that it's ourselves that makes selling difficult and complex. There are many mega complex "goods" out there that customers buy "off the shelf" with a few minutes and typically on brand name alone. So why is it that some simple "goods" have long sales cycles selling to multiple people. That's right, it is you and I, we complicate stuff, so track and measure your sales processes and learn fast so you can automate more, simplify sales and win more with less effort.
