: I don't believe it. Has to be bogus. For a professional body-builder 5000 calories is completing max'ing out. I understand that Phelps must have the metabolism of a dolphin, but 12k calories is over the top. You literally would have to eat 1000 calories/hour for 12 hours which is crazy.
