: One thing to consider is user interest and individual reasons to use social media. As someone using the Internet before the Web existed, I am primarily interested in finding experts to expand & share knowledge. But my daughter cares ONLY about her friends and their highschool soap operas. Social media caters to use both and not even Google or MSN can controll individuals globally!
