: @andyb56 I think if we take just one example: (for seemingly years) every day I signed into Facebook, there was a BO badge enticing me to vote for him (which as Brit wasn't going to happen). I think perhaps a lot of people voted for his Brand - versus his policies. Pure genius really, albeit non-democratic (the guy with the most money always wins in the USA?). Your thoughts about numbers are very much appropriate, I'm sure. The GOP simply did not use the web - perhaps because their candidate was an old guy, who knows?
